Straight

So you think you’re straight? That puts you in the majority! As many as 90% of men and women in the USA consider themselves heterosexual.

But you might be surprised how many straight people have fantasies, desires, romantic feelings, and sexual experiences with members of the same sex. In fact, half of people who have had a homosexual experience nevertheless consider themselves straight. In some parts of the world, as many as half of men have had sex with another man. And rates of bisexuality among young women in the US are soaring.

Many straight men and women are probably better classified as one of the following:

heteroflexible     supersexual     ambisexual     flexamorous     versatile     macho

In fact, of the more than 8,000 people who have taken the Flexuality Test, about half of those who identified themselves as straight turned out to be heteroflexible, nearly one quarter turned out to be ambisexual, while less than 1 in 5 were actually straight.

If you still think you are alone in being straight but having same-sex desires, check out these stories. You might also be surprised to learn how many famous people are flexible in their sexuality.

Even if you are certain that you are straight, what about your romantic partner? Maybe he or she is more flexible than you realized.

What about your children? The new generation is growing up in a world where “mostly straight,” queer, and bi-curious are acceptable options. Keep up with your kids and help guide them through the complexity of human sexuality and relationships.

Or maybe bisexuals turn you on? Most straight men love “lesbian” porn and the idea of having sex with two women at the same time. Many women are discovering gay (male) porn or finding excitement in a male partner’s willingness to explore another side of his sexuality. You can add a new dimension to your sex life, either in fantasy or real life experiences.
